My name is Alex and I have been building model cars since I was about eight years old and my love for the hobby is still going strong.  I am featuring several of my models on this site such as my '55 Bel Air Pro Stock which is pictured above. I tubbed the chasss and then added the tires and rims from the AMT '66 Chevelle Street Machine.  I  hand built the roll cage out of styrene rod.  The engine comes from the AMT '37 Chevy Cabriolet and it is wired and plumbed.  The exhaust is hand made as well as the rear suspension.  Seats are from the AMT '40 Ford Sedan Delivery.  I made the Texas license plate using ACME License Plate maker.  I saved the image to my computer, photo reduced it and then printed it out. There are so many modifications that I can't list them all.  To finish it off, I used Dupli-Color auto finishes and chromed it with Bare Metal Foil.  To view more pics of this model just click on the picture link above.

Welcome to Lex's Scale Modeling. This site was  designed as a place to offer the signature LSM Detailing Products  and HID Conversion Kits as well as a place to display some of my favorite builds.  I started this site because of my love of the hobby and my love of the great cars of the fifties, sixties and seventies.
